Delete from your dashboard

The fastest way to remove your data is from your account settings. Signed-in racers and sponsors can delete their account directly, which removes your profile and associated content from the Platform.

Request deletion through us

If you cannot access your account, or you are a guardian requesting deletion of a minor’s data, you can submit a request through our contact page. Choose “Data deletion request” and include the email address associated with the account so we can verify ownership. We may ask for additional verification to protect your account from unauthorized deletion.

What gets deleted

• Your account and login credentials.
• Your racer or sponsor profile and its public content.
• Wishlist items, funding goals, sponsorship tiers, vehicles, and updates you created.
• Messages you sent through the Platform, subject to the note below.
• Any stored shipping information (which is encrypted and never shown publicly).

What we may retain

We may keep limited information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our agreements. Content that is part of another user’s record — for example a message you sent that appears in a guardian-visible thread — may be retained in that context. Aggregate, de-identified analytics that cannot be linked back to you are not deleted.

Contributions are off-Platform

Because SponsorMyRC never handles contribution funds, we do not hold payment records to delete. Any transaction data lives with the third-party payment services or retailers involved; contact them to manage that data. See our Third-Party Payment Disclosure.

How long it takes

We aim to process verified deletion requests promptly, typically within 30 days. Some backups may take additional time to cycle out under our standard retention schedule.
