Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and SponsorMyRC governing your access to and use of our website and services (the “Platform”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. What SponsorMyRC is — and is not

SponsorMyRC is a platform that connects racers and sponsors. We provide tools to publish a racer page, list needs, offer sponsorship packages, and coordinate recognition. We are not a payment processor, escrow service, charity, retailer, or party to any sponsorship. We do not hold, process, or transfer contribution funds, and we do not guarantee the delivery of any product, benefit, or result.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 to create an account. A racer under 18 may participate only through a guardian-managed profile controlled by a parent or legal guardian.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for keeping your login secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Racer responsibilities

• Provide honest, accurate information about yourself, your racing, and your needs.
• Only list legal, permitted items — see our Community Guidelines.
• You are responsible for fulfilling any benefits you offer to sponsors, including recognition, logo placement, and other promises in your tiers.
• Use funds and products for the racing purposes you represented.
• Comply with the terms of the third-party payment services and retailers you use.

4. Sponsor responsibilities

• Review a racer’s profile and tier details before contributing. Benefits and exposure are determined by the racer and the sponsorship agreement.
• Understand that contributions are made directly to the racer through third-party services and are generally not refundable by SponsorMyRC.
• Do not use the Platform to harass racers or demand outcomes beyond what a racer agreed to provide.

5. Payments and third parties

All contributions occur off-Platform through payment services and retailers chosen by the racer. SponsorMyRC has no control over, and is not responsible for, those third parties, their fees, availability, pricing, or policies. See our Third-Party Payment Disclosure. Optional platform subscriptions are billed separately and are non-transferable to contributions.

6. No guarantees; disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that a racer will receive support, that a sponsor will receive benefits or advertising performance, or that any product will be delivered. See our Sponsorship Disclaimer.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SponsorMyRC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any disputes, losses, or damages arising between racers, sponsors, retailers, or payment services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amount you paid us for platform subscriptions in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Content and conduct

You retain ownership of the content you post and grant us a license to display and distribute it as part of operating the Platform. You must not post unlawful, infringing, misleading, or prohibited content, and you must follow our Community Guidelines.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove accounts or content that violate these Terms or threaten the safety of the community. You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
