Minor Safety Policy
Youth racers are central to the RC community. This policy explains the protections built into every profile for a racer under 18.

Guardian-managed profiles
A racer under 18 may participate only through a guardian-managed profile. A parent or legal guardian creates and controls the account, decides what appears publicly, and oversees all activity. A minor may not operate an unmanaged account.
Private by default
Youth profiles start private. Nothing about a minor becomes public until the managing guardian reviews it and chooses to publish. Guardians can return a profile to private at any time.
No home address or exact age exposed
- A minor’s home address is never displayed publicly. Any address provided for shipping is encrypted and never rendered on a public page.
- Exact age is hidden by default; only a general age group may be shown if the guardian allows it.
- Personal contact details are never required to receive support.
Safe shipping options
Guardians choose how physical items reach a young racer, including options that never reveal a home address — contact-first coordination, a secure address link shared only with a confirmed sponsor, a P.O. box, a team shop, or retailer-direct delivery.
Messages routed through the Platform
Sponsors cannot obtain a minor’s phone number or email. All communication happens through the Platform, and messages involving a minor are visible to the managing guardian, who can respond, block, or report at any time.
Guardian approval of payments and shipping
Guardians can require approval before any payment coordination or shipping proceeds, so nothing happens without their sign-off.
Zero tolerance for exploitation
Any attempt to contact a minor off-Platform, obtain personal information, arrange a private meeting, or otherwise exploit a young racer is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and, where appropriate, referral to authorities.
Reporting
